The schedule of swimming events at the 2012 Summer Olympics will occur in two segments:
- pools events: 28 July through 4 August at the Aquatics Centre,
- open water events: 9 and 10 August at Hyde Park.
For the pool events, preliminary heats are held in the morning, with semifinals and finals in the evening session, with a day between semifinals and final in those events with semifinals.
